BSA Rancho San Joaquin Camporee is coming up. The scouts and adult leaders would have fun with other units, compete and work as a team. Patrols would compete in Fire Starting, First Aid Relay, Kim's Game, Knot Relay, Shelter Building, Map and Compass, Scout Knowledge, Plutonium Transport. Other activities like shotgun shooting and Archery will also be available.

Oak Canyon Park [5305 E Santiago Canyon Rd, Silverado, CA 92676, USA]
No vehicle parking in the camp. Unhitch trailer and park vehicle in the lot.
Only 2 vehicles /troop allowed at a time to load/unload. When one vehicle comes out and hands the placard at the checkpoint, next vehicle will be allowed to go in.
No vehicle allowed from 9:00 pm on Friday night until Sunday afternoon.
**All scouts need to have the PARENT'S PERMISSION FORM printed and signed ( TWO copies, one copy for check in, the other to be kept with a scout at all time).
*** If you or your scout have had any of these symptoms in the last 21 days: FEVER, COUGH, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, DIFFICULTY BREATHING, LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL, STOMACH UPSET, HEADACHE, FATIGUE, BODY ACHES, RASH, or has TRAVELED IN THE LAST 21 DAYS or been in contact with any COVID-19 CONFIRMED PATIENTS, please do not participate in the upcoming activity.

Due to COVID-19, all participants of troop outings must fill out two consent forms: BSA Activity Consent Form and Troop Consent Form. Starting from carpooling, all participants must practice safety measures throughout the entire outing, such as social distancing or wearing face masks. Make sure to exercise proper judgement and maintain good personal hygiene, such as bringing hand sanitizer.
*** Scouts' behaviors should be in accordance with Scout Oath and Scout Laws. Horseplay, physical violence, harassment, initiation rites, bullying, theft, verbal insults, ..., are prohibited. It's of the utmost importance that scouts follow instructions, especially during outings. Otherwise scout, not only put himself in danger, he also endangers those around him. Guardians are responsible for their scouts' manners.
