BSA Rancho San Joaquin District of Orange County Council holds a Camporee annually. It is the chance for scouts and adult leaders from different units to camp and work together. At the Camporee, scouts compete in scouting skills by patrols usually made of six to eight scouts with other troops' patrols. Each patrol has a patrol name, patrol flag, and patrol yell.
