Troop 622 will NOT attend Scout-O-Rama due to the short time frame. Folks that are available, please attend as observers/visitors to help us prep better next year.
Scout-O-Rama (SOR) is a community event put together by the Orange County Council Boy Scouts of America and our volunteers to show what Scouting is all about! Scout-O-Rama is Saturday October 1, 2022 and is free for all ages – both boys and girls! Families who want to learn more about Scouting are encouraged to come and participate. It’s going to be a great day full of adventure!
Scout-O-Rama 2022 is at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center (IROEC) and features: Zipline, Pioneering, Archery, Scout Dutch Oven Cooking, Games, BB-Guns, Scouting Skills, Ropes Course, Camping, Pinewood Derby, Pan for Gold, Fire Trucks, Community Partners, Climbing Rock Wall, Orchard and Gardens, Science Center, Tomahawk and more! **
** Waivers will be required to participate in adventure activities. Forms are available in Event Information (refer 'Trip Information' link below).

*** Scouts' behaviors should be in accordance with Scout Oath and Scout Laws. Horseplay, physical violence, harassment, initiation rites, bullying, theft, verbal insults, ..., are prohibited. It's of the utmost importance that scouts follow instructions especially during outings. Otherwise scout, not only put himself in danger, he also endangers those around him. Guardians are responsible for their scouts' manners.
*** Troop policy: friends and guests are welcome to participate in troop activities if their consent form/health form are submitted and if they have a responsible adult company.
