In preparation of our Sierra backpack, our troop does a three day backpack every year. This year, our troop will be hiking San Gorgonio,
the highest peak in Southern California. At the peak, the elevation is 11,503 ft. making this a great practice hike for the high elevation in the Sierras. Starting from Vivian Creek trailhead, we will hike up 5843 ft of elevation and hike about 18 miles round trip. The weather will be warm during the day and cold at night.
