This is a 5-mile round trip to Onyx Peak backpacking. We will ski/shoe several miles along the road to flat area and will camp at a likely spot--we don’t need a stream since we can melt snow for water. It is a fairly gentle climb and all downhill coming back. There are some gentle slopes to practice skiing and falling down. We can tow sleds.Activities at the meadow may include building an igloo or snow shelter and snowball fight.
