This small and easy backpack which prepares us for the Sierras backpacking trip.
It is a 2-day 15 miles hike along the
Pacific Crest Trail in the Canyon of Deep Creek. The elevation is decent and there aren't many uphill sections because we will be descending. Along the way there are some famous swimming holes such as the Aztec, Peace, Gilligans, Center Cut, Luna and Warm Springs. On the 1st day, we will be hiking several miles down the river and stopping at the swimming holes then hiking some more to the camp site. On the 2nd day we will continue and finish the hike.
