The first day was not very fun, as we had a 7 hour car ride ahead of us. However, once we got to Mr. A's condo, the fun began. We spent a lot of time playing Risk, and before we knew it, it was 1 o'clock in the morning.
After a short night's sleep, we made our way to Eagle Lodge, where we took a few practice runs. The weather was not that bad, as it was warm and sunny. After we got all warmed up, we headed to Canyon Lodge, and ate lunch there. After this, we went on Rollercoaster a couple of times, and we headed back to the condo.
That night we ate food, and played some more board games until midnight. Then, in the morning that followed, we geared up and headed back out to Eagle Lodge. Unlike the day before, this time, everyone stuck together, and I think it was the first time that everyone went down a black diamond, the Face Run, on the same day. We almost traveled across the entire mountain and went on some more challenging runs than the day before. We went on Gold Rush, and Chair 4, and surprisingly, we all stuck together, meaning that the next generation of the snowboarders of our troop will be great. The only problem at the end of the day was that the snow all melted and turned to mush, so it was weird to board on. After spending the day getting all sore, we headed back.
When we got back to the condo, we ate spaghetti, then watched some movies about Tom Clancy's books. It was fun because we got to see things blow up and people shoot each other. We played more board games and went to sleep again.
This trip was very fun, and I will definitely go again next year.
